Olivia Albright scores in her second strait game to give the CAPERS a 1-0 victory over the UPEI Panthers in Charlottetown today, earning her the Player of the Game nod. Rookie Julie Sampson assisted the goal, her second in 2 games, after fielding a pass from Audrey Roy. Tara Isama records her first shut out of the season as the CAPERS move to 1-0-1 after the opening 2 games. This CAPERS squad had a strong opening weekend as they look to defend their AUS title.
AUS Soccer action will be at Ness Timmons field on the Cape Breton University campus this Saturday, September 6. This is our home opener CAPER Fest celebration. The women play at 1:00 and the men at 3:30.
