A 5'11" rightside/opposite from Halton Hills, Ontario, Hamilton brings high-level competitive experience, leadership, and a strong work ethic to the Tigers program.
Hamilton has competed extensively in elite provincial and national environments, earning selection to Team Ontario White (2023), Team Ontario Black (2024), and Team Ontario Elite (2024). She has also represented Team Canada U17 (2023) and competed as an All Canadian Games athlete in 2024. Her club achievements include a 15U National Championship (2023), 16U National Championship (2024), a 16U Provincial Championship (2024), a 15U Provincial Bronze Medal (2023), and 16U Provincial All-Star recognition.
A dedicated student-athlete, Hamilton has earned Honour Roll recognition during the 2022–23, 2023–24, and 2024–25academic years. She has been accepted into Dalhousie's Bachelor of Science program.
"I chose Dalhousie because the team and staff were incredibly welcoming, and I immediately felt comfortable in the environment," says Hamilton. "I really connected with how hard-working the group is and the strong high-performance culture they have built. It felt like the right place for me to grow as both an athlete and a person."
Murray is excited about the impact Hamilton can make within the Tigers program.
"Logan brings an outstanding work ethic, strong leadership qualities, and valuable experience competing at a high level," says Murray. "Her commitment to growth and ability to elevate those around her will make an immediate impact on our program. We are thrilled to welcome Logan to the Tigers."
Hamilton is eager to begin her U SPORTS career in Halifax.
"I'm grateful for the chance to compete at the next level with the Tigers," she says. "The team made me feel welcome right away, and I am excited to work hard, learn, grow, and contribute within the program. Go Tigers!"
The Tigers continue to build toward the 2026–27 U SPORTS season as they welcome Hamilton to the Dalhousie women's volleyball program.
The Thunderbirds return to War Memorial Gym to kick off a crucial final stretch of the regular season as they look to solidify their standing in the competitive Canada West conference.
