Hailing from North Vancouver, British Columbia, the 5'8" defender brings a strong technical ability, composed distribution, and physical presence to the Tigers' back line.

Haibeck most recently competed with Burnaby FC in the Premier Women's League, where she gained valuable experience in high-pressure competitions. She helped Burnaby FC reach the BCSPL Provincial Finals for three consecutive years. In 2024, was named Player of the Game in the FTF Champions Cup, where her team finished first place. She was also named Youth Nations Cup Player of the Game in both 2024 and 2025.

Haibeck has been accepted into Dalhousie's Bachelor of Arts program.

"I am super excited and incredibly grateful for the opportunity to come to Dalhousie and represent the Tigers," says Haibeck. "I'm really looking forward to being a part of a welcoming and supportive environment that will challenge me and help me grow as a person and player. I can't wait to build new connections and start this next chapter in Halifax!"

Coach Cindy Tye is excited about what Haibeck will bring to the Tigers.

"Delaney is a product of a strong Burnaby FC club where she has developed into an athletic center back who is solid on both sides of the ball. Comfortable playing out in possession, Delaney understands her role in starting the attack for her team. A physical defender, she takes pride in winning the 1v1 battles that are required to win her team back control of a game. A leader out of the back, we look forward to welcoming Delaney to the Tigers!"

The Tigers continue to build toward future AUS success as they welcome this talented defender to the Black & Gold.
