OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech Ridgebacks men's soccer team shut out the Queen's Gaels 2-0 on Thursday night at Vaso's Field, earning their fourth win of the season.

Ashkaun Mohammadi opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a goal of the year candidate. Erion Metaj doubled Ontario Tech's lead in the 56th minute, finishing off a pass from Christian Keshishian.

Goalkeeper Peter Sheberstov was perfect on the night, stopping all six shots he faced to record the clean sheet. He made four of those saves in the second half as the Gaels pushed for a comeback.

The Ridgebacks will head north this weekend for a game against Laurentian on Sunday, September 28 before heading home for graduating senior night against the RMC Paladins on Saturday, October 4 at 3:15 p.m.
