KAMLOOPS, B.C. – Four different players scored as the Calgary Dinos men's soccer team finished off their weekend with a 4-0 win over Thompson Rivers Saturday from Hillside Stadium.

The Dinos outscored their opponents this weekend 10-1 in a dominant showing on the road and now move to 5-2 on the year. TRU falls to 0-7-1.

One night after lighting up the scoreboard a season-high six times, the Dinos were right back at it in the eighth minute of this one. James Greco Taylor lofted a free kick from midfield into the box. Joey Plenzik skyed over everyone to get a head on it and sent it back across the face of goal, where Soliman Aria was waiting to calmly tap it in and make it 1-0 just eight minutes in for his second goal in as many nights.

Four minutes later, it was Owen Antoniuk's turn. The fourth-year forward one-timed a perfect pass from Kimia Kassanda for his league-leading seventh goal of the year to make it 2-0 Calgary at the 12-minute mark.

Antoniuk returned the favour in the 27th as Kassanda netted his first of the year. Antoniuk sent a long ball to Kassanda, who timed his run perfectly – tapping the pass behind the defence and before calmly slotting the ball past the oncoming keeper to make it 3-0 in the 27th minute.

The three goals for the Dinos came on their first three shots of the game.

Calgary closed out the scoring on a beautiful counterattack in the 90th minute. After a TRU free kick sent the ball in the Dinos' box, Calgary cleared and it was off to the races. Kundai Dziwa started the possession before Antoniuk went sprinting down the left sideline. He sent a low cross to Josral Frederick and the third-year forward made no mistake, tapping the ball far post to make it 4-0 with his first of the year.

Oliver Allen picked up the win in his first career start in net for the Scarlet & Gold, tallying three saves for the shutout.

The Dinos return to campus for two more cross-division contests next weekend, hosting UNBC on Saturday and Victoria on Sunday. Both games are scheduled to kick off at 2 p.m. from McMahon Stadium.
