This weekend the York University Lions men's volleyball team is back on the court to start the new semester.
The Lions hit the road for back-to-back games against the Windsor Lancers. Following the Lancers' victory over the Lions in last season's OUA semifinals, tension on the court is expected to be high. By the numbers, this is set to be a battle: the Lancers currently lead the OUA in points per set (16.3), while the Lions lead the province in total kills (534). Furthermore, Windsor ranks second in hitting percentage at .291, with the Lions trailing narrowly at .290. These razor-thin margins highlight a weekend matchup between two of the province's highest-caliber offenses.
Fans can catch both games live on OUA TV.
