"I like the friendly faces in Kamloops. Everywhere I've walked around people have just been smiling. I like how the city is not too far from home but far enough that I can live on campus and get that university experience."

"At nationals, Reece (Wilson, TRU assistant coach) came up to me and told me that TRU was interested in me. We stayed in contact from there and both me and my parents were really into it, so I came for a visit that went great."

"My history with Reece (who coached Nii at the club level) has been great, I love him as a person and as a coach. He has so much volleyball knowledge and it's been great to learn from him."
