TORONTO — The Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Bold men's soccer team is excited to welcome striker Cyrus Rollocks to its 2025-26 recruiting class.
Hailing from Scarborough, Ont., the proven offensive talent brings a wealth of experience. He played for Toronto FC II in 2017, followed by several League1 Ontario clubs and a Canadian Premier League club, including York9 FC (2019), Blue Devils FC (2021), York United and Scrosoppi FC (2022), and most recently with the North Toronto Nitros (2025).
He was named the League1 Ontario Young Player of the Year in 2017 after an impressive 17 goals in 17 matches.
On the international stage, he represented Canada at the 2015 CONCACAF U-17 Championship.
Describing himself as a hard-working and receptive learner on the pitch, Rollocks will look to bring his skills to OUA competition. He has strong ties to TMU, having played alongside several current Bold teammates during his time with the Nitros. His brother, Jevontae Layne, also played for the Bold last season and was selected first overall in the 2025 U SPORTS CPL Draft.
Set to begin his studies at TMU's Chang School, Rollocks looks forward to advancing both academically and athletically as part of a leading U SPORTS soccer program.
As the first addition to the 2025-26 recruiting class, Rollocks is ready to make his mark with the blue and gold.
