Schofield, a current Tiger who is heading into her fifth year at Dalhousie and specializes in free, back and individual medley and her current teammates Alexia Morgan, Yannick Morgans, Morgan Sparkes and new recruit Oliver Dawood represented Dalhousie this past weekend in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
Schofield qualified for the B final in the open 100m individual medley finals where she touched the wall with a time of 1:05.49 for a new provincial short course provincial record.
Throughout the weekend Schofield also competed in the women’s 200m and 400m individual medley where she finished ninth and sixth overall, and 100m and 200m backstroke where she finished 32 and 16 overall.
Alexia Morgan finished 25 overall in the women’s 50m butterfly, 24 in the 100m butterfly, and 15 in the 200m butterfly.
Yannick Morgans finished 24 in the men’s 400m freestyle, 17 in the 800m freestyle and 11in the 1500m freestyle.
Morgan Sparkes finished 27 in the men’s 200m individual medley, 14 in the 400m individual medley, 11 in the 400m freestyle, 10 in the 800m freestyle and fifth in the 1500m freestyle with a time of 15:41.85.
New recruit Oliver Dawood finished 37 in the men’s 50m backstroke, 45 in the 10m backstroke and 36 in the 200m backstroke.
Tigers went to work in the relays with Morgan Sparkes, Oliver Dawood, and Yannick Morgans and former Tiger William Myrer finishing 7th in the 200m freestyle relay, 400m freestyle relay and 200m medley relay.
The Tigers swim team will kick off their season October 25 at Mount Allison University.
