Lancers Shine at 2025 Canada Summer Games

Newfoundland became Lancer territory last week as five track and field athletes traded blue and gold for Team Ontario colours, returning from the Canada Summer Games with medals and boasting a perfect record of top-five finishes.

Five members of the Lancer Track & Field team proudly represented Team Ontario at the 2025 Canada Summer Games in St. John's, Newfoundland (August 19–24). The group brought home four medals, with every Lancer finishing top five in their event—an outstanding accomplishment.
 

  • A.J. Stanat – Gold in Shot Put (17.04m) and Bronze in Discus (47.56m)
  • Grace Elford – Silver in Pole Vault (3.75m)
  • Ben Tilson – Gold as the anchor of Ontario's 4x400m Relay (3:10.94)
  • Mikayla May – 4th in Triple Jump (11.64m)
  • Riley Robitaille – 5th in Heptathlon (4535 pts)

 
This incredible showing capped off an exceptional year for these athletes, building on their success from the 2024–25 varsity season through to the outdoor campaign.
