Neri to Represent Canada at 2025 World Para Athletics Championships

Former Lancer Track & Field star Nick Neri, who's earned his spot on Team Canada for the 2025 World Para Athletics Championships in Delhi, ready to test his mettle against the globe's best in the 1500m.

Congratulations to Lancer Track & Field alumnus Nick Neri, who has been named to Team Canada for the 2025 World Para Athletics Championships in Delhi, India. Nick will compete in the Men's 1500m T13 from September 27 to October 5.

When asked how it felt to make the team, Neri shared:

"I was glad and relieved, as it's been a while since I made a national team after being so close the last few times."

Nick is eager to join Canada's best para-athletes on the world stage, test himself against an elite field, and see how he stacks up.
