University of Regina Rams head coach Mark McConkey announced Thursday that Jaeden Marwick has been named the team's offensive coordinator.

Marwick comes to the Rams after a three-year stint with Miller Comprehensive High School, where he was the co-offensive coordinator in 2022 before being elevated to offensive coordinator for both the 2023 and 2024 campaigns. He also served as Miller's quarterbacks coach for all three of those seasons, two of which resulted in the Marauders winning 6A provincial championships.

"Jaeden is a young, exciting addition to our staff," McConkey said. "He has a great football IQ and has amassed a wealth of experience at the high school and provincial levels over the past few years. Jaeden is more than ready to make the jump to the U SPORTS level and we're looking forward to having him work with the talented group of returning and new players we've got on the offensive side of the ball."

Marwick also has experience as an offensive coordinator at the provincial level Team Saskatchewan Under-16, helping that squad win championships in both 2023 and 2024 at Football Canada's Western Regional Challenge.

As a player, Marwick was a quarterback at Winston Knoll Collegiate before graduating and moving on to junior football with the VI Raiders in Nanaimo, B.C. Marwick won the Cullen Cup with the Raiders as the BCFC champions in his lone season with them, then returned for two seasons with the Regina Thunder. He earned Prairie Football Conference all-star honours in 2014 and PFC Most Valuable Player and CJFL All-Canadian honours in 2015 with the Thunder. Marwick played one season of U SPORTS football, spending the 2016 season with Bishop's.

Marwick, also a physical education and social studies teacher at Miller for the past three years, graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Education degree in 2021.
